The website Oxly - Boats is not intended for offering goods or services. It consists of conventional HTML pages, a photo archive based on Coppermine, and a WordPress blog. Most content is protected by copyright.
I am not interested in collecting personal data from visitors and have, to the best of my knowledge, disabled all functions that would store such data. You cannot register, there is no contact form, no links to social media, and I do not send newsletters.

WordPress requires you to enter a name and an email address when commenting on blog posts. You may provide real or fictitious information. If you enter your real name, you simultaneously consent to this data being stored by this website. Comments must be approved by me before they appear.
Apart from displaying names in comments, no further processing takes place. WordPress automatically deletes commenters’ IP data after 10 days via a plugin. If you wish to have your comment or name deleted, please contact me at the email address above.
Traces on the Internet
Typically, you leave traces when visiting a website. Every browser collects not only the data needed to display a webpage but also leaves information at the data source, such as browser type, version, operating system, IP address, date and time of the request, and more. These websites are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich. Wherever possible, I have disabled statistical traffic tracking there.
Matomo
The use of Oxly.de is analyzed with the tool Matomo (formerly Piwik) in anonymized form. I am interested in which articles are frequently accessed and which are not, in order to understand which topics appeal to readers.
