About this Website
For several years I have owned a motorboat and have been traveling on the waters of Berlin and Brandenburg. Since I enjoy photography and writing, it was obvious to publish something about boats and related topics. A dedicated website is well suited for this. The website at www.oxly.de has changed several times over the course of its existence. In the beginning, Oxly was not specialized in boats but covered a broader range of topics. At first, Oxly was only a blog based on WordPress, but several years ago it was split into classic HTML pages alongside WordPress. There is also an embedded Coppermine image database serving as a photo archive.Most articles are written by me; however, there are also guest contributions. The named authors are responsible for their own content. Their views and experiences do not necessarily reflect my own.
Language
The articles on this website were originally written in German. Some of the most frequently accessed posts are gradually being translated into English. For all other articles, you can simply use your browser’s translation feature.

This website is not a shop. I do not offer any boating-related services, do not sell goods, and do not rent moorings. Nor are there any tourist offers here.
Some articles present products, information, and services that I have found useful in boating or water sports in general, or that I know from other boaters. They cannot be obtained through me. For questions or needs, you must contact the respective providers or sources.
